Andrew Bird
Illinois native and Chicago resident Andrew Bird, like many local artists, has a long-standing relationship with Schubas, having played 13 times in various incarnations of his live act dating back to 1997. His most recent shows with us include a sold-out performance on the eve of Thanksgiving, 2002, as well as an August, 2004, set as part of the Interchange Festival. Though he has since gone on to garner many more fans in Chicago than could comfortably fit in our cozy music room, Mr. Bird still visits as a spectator, supporter, and friend of Schubas. WOW
