Jens Lekman

To Chicago by way of Sweden, Jens Lekman visited Schubas on March 3rd, 2005 supported by The Impossible Shapes and Palliard. Just two months before Oh You're So Silent Jens, a compilation of Jens' first three EPs with extra tracks was released and made him a worldwide sensation of sorts, Jens was still building the foundations of a worldwide fanbase. Jens has since gone on to play the 2006 Pitchfork Music Festival, release two EPs along with a critically acclaimed new album Night Falls Over Kortedala and a great many notable collaborations. Schubas is proud to say we knew him when.
