Of Montreal

The psych-pop Of Montreal has graced the Schubas stage seven times in as many years. Consisting of mastermind Kevin Barnes and a rotating cast of musicians, their sound has evolved from lo-fi 4-track recordings to the synth-dance rock of their latest release, "Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?" Their most recent appearance with us was in 2006 for an Official Lollapalooza after-party where Barnes also manned the decks and DJ'ed after the show. Be it revamping thier tunes for Outback Steakhouse or selling out the Metro, Of Montreal are well on their way towards mainstream success.
