Silversun Pickups

Los Angeles' own Silversun Pickups stopped by Belmont & Southport on August 13th, 2006, supported by Page France and DJ Matt Fields. On September 26th of the same year, the Pickups released their debut full-length album Carnavas. Two singles from the album hit the Billboard Modern Rock Top 10, and the band went on to tour with Wolfmother, OK Go, Snow Patrol, Foo Fighters, and Kaiser Chiefs among others, and have their tracks "Lazy Eye" and "Well Thought Out Twinkles" featured in the video games Guitar Hero: World Tour and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground respectively.
