The Wrens

We've had the pleasure of hosting the Wrens four times as a full band, as well as one show with Charles Bissell,, sharing the stage with fellow Schubas Hall of Fame member Andrew Bird. We first met them in January of 2004, shortly after the band released its third album, The Meadowlands, to critical acclaim. The record topped critics' polls for two years after its release. Since then, The Wrens have grown greatly in popularity due to the success of The Meadowlands and the subsequent re-release of their first two albums, Silver and Secaucus. Currently working on their next album and being filmed for a documentary, The Wrens have a promising future and a rich history which Schubas is proud to be a part of.
