Umphrey's McGee

Umphrey's McGee, a band Rolling Stone Magazine has called "odds-on favorites in the next-Phish sweepstakes," has a long history with Schubas. The band as a whole has graced our stage five times going back to March of 1999 and, athough their popularity has since outgrown our capacity, members of the band have come back to perform solo and DJ Upstairs, including a month-long residency in January of 2006. After nine albums, two DVD releases and countless live shows, Umphrey's McGee may never visit Belmont & Southport to perform as a full band again, but they remain friends of Schubas and pillars of Chicago live music.
