Schubas address is 3159 N Southport, the corner of Belmont & Southport, in Chicago, Illinois. Via public transportation, we are within walking distance of the Belmont Red/Purple/Brown line L train stop, as well as the #77 Belmont bus stop at Southport. Do you offer parking?
Schubas has a small private lot attached to the building. In addition, there is a public pay garage just east of Schubas at 1333 W. Belmont, as well as a private pay lot 1 1/2 blocks west of Schubas on Greenview, just south of Belmont. Street parking around the building is also available.
How does ticketing work?
All tickets are will-call, which is to say that there are no physical tickets- your name will be on a list at the door. Tickets are taken off sale on schubas.com at 5:00 PM day-of-show and any remaining tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the door. You should receive an email confirmation of your ticket purchase. Please bring valid photo ID for proof of age and ticket purchase.
Advance tickets guarantee entry to the show.
They are general admission only and DO NOT guarantee seating.
For the best seats/position in the music room please arrive 30 minutes prior to show time to pick-up your tickets.
A non-refundable $2.25 per ticket service charge will be added to the purchase price of each ticket.

Advance tickets are only available through Schubas.com (until 5 pm day of show) and eTix.com when noted. Schubas does not have a physical box office. Walk-up ticket purchases are only available at Schubas beginning one half-hour before listed show time unless the show is sold out.

What is your policy on transferring tickets?
Unfortunately, the only way you can make a ticket transfer is to have your friend or friends show up at the doors on the night of the show with your email confirmation and 2 original/physical state issued forms of your own ID. Here are some examples of acceptable forms of ID: your driver’s license, credit card, debit card, passport or student ID. No photocopies of the forms of ID will be accepted. They must be the original copies. If these guidelines cannot be followed, no transfer will be allowed.
My band would like to play Schubas- how can we make that happen?
You must first send a sample of your music to demos@schubas.com. Please be patient in awaiting a response. Please check our Booking Page for more info.
Does Schubas offer internships? How do I apply?
We offer unpaid (with perks!) internships in our music department and are more than happy to work with your institute of higher learning to provide college credit. Please email jud@schubas.com with internship inquiries.
I'm interested in joining the Schubas Street Team- how do I join? What does the Street Team do?
The Schubas Street Team is an elite group of dedicated individuals who help us publicize upcoming shows throughout Chicago in exchange for tickets, drinks, food, and more. To join their ranks, please email jud@schubas.com.
What is your photography / taping policy?
Our photography and taping policies are dictated by the policies of the bands playing the show in question, so check with the band's official website for the most accurate answer.
What are the age restrictions for shows at Schubas?
Our shows are 21+ unless otherwise noted. We do have plenty of 18+ and All Ages shows, though. Our Family Series also offers fun for the whole family.
