The Academy for Global Citizenship is a unique Chicago Public Contract School, located on the Southwest side of Chicago. Our mission is to empower all students to positively impact the community and world beyond.

Originally formed as a duo by L.C. Walker and Tom Crivellone, Two for the Blues is an exceptional, hard-to-classify band. Blending traditional, driving Chicago blues and original music with soul, rock, and jazz influences, TFB has a special way of reaching most every audience. The current line-up includes original members Tom and drumming machine Dwayne Manuel, veteran lead guitarist Joe Mac, and the funky soul of Roberto Augusto on bass. Keyboard wizard John Christy is a frequent guest artist. Aron Burton, blues master and founder of Albert Collins’ Icebreakers, gave TFB one of its finest compliments. After joining forces recently for a combined show, Aron turned to the band and said, “You guys can play anything, but you are one only three real blues bands left in Chicago.” Whether you just love good music or are ready to dance and raise the roof, TFB’s soulful vocals, hot guitars, and funky rhythm section will make your night.
