WhoMadeWho are without a doubt one of the most promising new bands. These three guys from Copenhagen recorded two disco rock songs just for fun, sent them to German label GOMMA and unexpectedly caused a sensation in the music scene.

Following the release of their eponymous debut album in 2006 their song “Satisfaction” reached cult status in British Indie clubs. The radio single “Space For Rent” was even covered by THE QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE for their live concerts. Bands such as SOULWAX, FRANZ FERDINAND, THE RAPTURE, DAFT PUNK and LCD SOUNDSYSTEM were cited as fans of the band and some of them hired the three Danes as support band for their tours. In consequence, a huge, ever-growing fanbase around the world evolved. At last years CMJ the band played their first ever US show when they opened for CRYSTAL CASTLES and for this year’s South By Southwest the band was nominated as one of the best acts by, among others, Brooklyn Vegan and Seattle’s “The Stranger” – the latter referring to WHOMADEWHO as “not merely the rockingest dance band or danciest rock band but both the danciest dance band and the rockingest rock band I've seen all festival.”
